Frequently asked questions

Who is behind Boldstone Sculpture?

Boldstone Sculpture was founded in 1998 by British sculptor Sally Price, who creates contemporary reliefs, wall panels and water features for homes, gardens and commercial spaces.

Do you offer ready‑made pieces as well as commissions?

Yes. You can purchase made‑to‑order designs from the online shop (typical lead time 2–4 weeks) or commission a bespoke artwork developed in consultation with you and/or your design team (allow at least 6–8 weeks, depending on scale and complexity).

What materials do you use?

Works are produced in glass‑fibre‑reinforced polymers blended with natural stone powders and resins, gypsum‑based materials, resins, and - metals including foundry‑cast bronze. Finishes include White Marble, Bath Stone, Natural Stone, Marbled Stone Antique Bronze and many more.

Can the sculptures be installed outdoors?

Absolutely. Many pieces are designed for exterior walls, courtyards and landscaped gardens. Outdoor finishes are weather‑resistant; the team will advise on fixings and maintenance for your specific site.

How heavy are the panels?

Reliefs can be cast hollow or solid to suit your wall type and weight limits. During consultation, Boldstone will confirm exact weights and recommend suitable fixings.

Which countries do you ship to?

Boldstone ships throughout the UK and internationally to the USA, Middle East, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. If your region is not listed at checkout, email info@boldstonesculpture.com for a quote.

How are shipping costs calculated?

Charges are shown at checkout and depend on size, weight and destination. Very large or heavy sculptures may require a separate, custom freight quote.

Will I have to pay import duties or taxes?

International customers are responsible for any local duties, taxes or customs fees that may apply once the artwork reaches the destination country.

How long will delivery take once my piece is ready?

Orders are normally dispatched within 7 business days of completion. UK deliveries are made Monday–Saturday, 08:00–18:00. Transit times for international shipments vary by carrier and destination.

Can I track my order?

Yes. You will receive an email with tracking details as soon as your parcel leaves the studio. If you have not received an update, contact Boldstone with your order number.

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days from receipt to request a return on eligible items. Pieces must be unused, in original packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase. Custom or personalised works, sale items and gift cards are non‑returnable.

How do I start a return?

Email info@boldstonesculpture.com with your order details. If approved, you will be sent a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back without prior authorisation cannot be accepted.

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds are processed after the returned piece is inspected. Funds are credited to your original payment method; bank or card providers may take additional time to post the refund.

Do you provide installation or project‑management support?

Yes. The studio can liaise with architects, landscape designers and contractors, advise on fixings, and oversee installation to ensure the artwork integrates seamlessly with your space.

How can I discuss a project or get a quote?

Use the contact form on the Contact Us page or email info@boldstonesculpture.com. You can also schedule a consultation call directly from the website.
