Process

The commissioning process begins with an initial consultation, where ideas, inspiration and budgets are discussed. Once an estimate has been reached including lead times we will submit a quotation along with fee structure for project completion. At this stage we supply drawings, samples and marquettes of colour, stone and metal effect prior to commencement of carving and making the final artworks. This collaborative approach ensures each piece is not only a representation of the client's vision but also an integration of artistic expertise and possibility. Throughout the creation process, clients are kept informed and involved, receiving updates and opportunities for feedback.

Commissions and Custom-Made have a minimum timescale of 6-8 weeks depending on the scale of the project.

Made to order

Process

Clients can choose a Standard Wall Sculpture or Furnishing design from our list of Sculptures and Furnishings brochures. As all of our pieces are hand-made, Standard Designs are Made To Order and depending on the scale of the project these pieces can be supplied from 2-4 weeks from the agreed date of order.

For an additional fee, Made To Order items can have different stone and metal effects applied to the surface.

LIMITED EDITIONS & ONE-OFFS

Process

Our Sculpture and Furnishing Designs can be Limited Editions, Open Editions or One-Offs.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Boldstone offers services that include suggestions for installation and art consultation. By choosing our commission and consultation services, clients are assured of personalized attention that results in one-of-a-kind art pieces suitable for their environment that caters to specific needs of our clients.

We can support interior or garden design teams in the planning, executing, and monitoring of projects by scheduling capabilities to assist in visibility across project timelines. Gantt charts and calendar views make it easy to visualize project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and adjust timelines as necessary to keep a project on track.

Our reporting and analytics features enable managers to track performance metrics, assess resource allocation, and gain insights into project outcomes. Depending on the size of the project we have the capability to utilise a data-driven approach allowing for informed decision-making, helping teams optimize their processes for future projects.
